The Congress haters are now friends with the party Chief Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi as part of his Hyderabad tour met some Industrialists from the Telugu states and here he promised the special status to Andhra Pradesh as promised earlier.
Brahmani the wife of Lokesh the IT minister from Andhra Pradesh was the attraction at this meet. This indicates that Chandrababu might join the Congress to fight the next elections against the opposition in Andhra Pradesh.
Bharat the son of TDP MP TG Venkatesh was also present at the meeting of the CEOs and the businessmen organised here in Hyderabad. Rahul talked about his vision for the future of the small and medium scale industries. He said there would be only one tax for the industrialists and that there would be no hassle of the GST.
From the film fraternity, Suresh Productions chief Suresh Babu was present and he was happy with the presentation given by Rahul and expressed his satisfaction.
It may be noted that the friendship between the Congress and Chandrababu has cropped up ever since they met a the swearing in of Deve Gowda in Karnataka. Now that the BJP is gunning for Babu he has no other option but to join the Congress in fighting the next election.
