The BJP is taking the Tirupathi MP seat very seriously. As it represents the Temple Town, the party wants to win this seat at any cost. Janasena will be supporting BJP in this election.
This is a sitting seat of YSRC. The TDP is also contesting the election, but it may be of no use. TDP has faced a severe drubbing the Panchayat elections due to different reasons.
The TDP could not withstand the onslaught of the ruling YSRC. So the contest will be between the BJP and YSRC. Minister for Home Amit Shah will be coming to Tirupathi on March 4th it is reported.
He will be talking ot the BJP leaders of AP on 5th in Tirupathi. There is a chance that he might talk to the Janasena leaders also. It is confirmed that BJP will be contesting the seat.
But it is equally prestigious for Jagan Mohan Reddy also. So it will be a serious fight between BJP and YSRC. The TDP may not be a big factor now after losing the Panchayat elections.
