If Sharmila the sister of Jagan starts a party in Telangana, the loser could be the upcoming BJP. BJP which is trying to rise in Telangana in the name of replacing the TRS, will lose the edge.
TheTRS will have all the advantage in Telangana, if Sharmila divides the vote.
TRS is doing well and it will retain its vote share in the coming elections, but if the Sharmila party comes into picture, then it will have a direct bearing on the growth of BJP and this will help the TRS to retain its original position.
Sharmila may not make much of a difference in the Telangana politics, but she will cut into the votes of BJP and thereby BJP will lose the contest in many segments.
It will be like another Prajarajyam which helped the YSR to come to power against the TDP. In the same fashion Sharmila will help TRS in splitting the votes of the BJP.
Sharmila will not be in direct contest, but she will take the slight edge or the tinge out of the BJP and that will help TRS to retain the power in the state of Telangana.
Sharmila will take the Congress vote also. Christians, SC, STs have been voting the Congress since decades but now that vote will go to Sharmila.
it is rumoured that Jagan promised Sharmila that she would get a good position or will be an MP. But after getting 150 seats, Jagan just ignored the family members and has taken them for granted.
Now they are trying to grow on their own. There is talk that brother Anil leaked the story to the media wantonly. Anil was also kept aside by Jagan and he did not bother to touch him.
