Somesh Kumar,IAS., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana directed the officials to prepare a blue print for the development of IT all areas around Hyderabad under IT Grid Policy. It is noted that on the initiative of Minister for MA&UD Sri K.T.Rama Rao, the Cabinet cleared the IT Grid policy (Growth in Disperse).
The Policy aims at setting of IT Parks and other facility in other parts of the City in Industrial Parks. These Industrial Parks are now in midst of Hyderabad city and it is difficult to carry out industrial activities. These are supposed to be shifted to beyond outer ring road.
Chief Secretary held a review meeting with various Stakeholders on the development of IT Industries in Uppal, Nagole, Katedan, Kompally and other areas in the city.
Somesh Kumar directed to obtain feedback from Stakeholders by 27th, January on preparation of master plan for the development of areas with better Infrastructure facilities.
Chief Secretary informed that, as per the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekhar Rao, the Government has decided to promote IT in all areas in a time bond manner. Chief Secretary advised to conducted meetings with stakeholders along with Government machineries on the approach of Government in the development of areas.
