Lakhs of people are at tank bund and around liberty who have come to see the Nimajjan of Ganeshas. The bada Ganesh from Khairtabad has been immersed in the Hussain Sagar lake at crane no6 successfully. The procession started in the morning and by at 12.30 in the noon the Nimajjan process was completed.
A special crane was mounted for the World famous Khaitabad Ganesh. People thronged from across the city to witness this Nimajjan process. Pooja was performed while starting and ending of the Nimajjan process.
Shankeraiah the founder of this Ganesh Installation process at Khairatabad said that every year they are reducing the size of the idol. This year also the size was also reduced.
Thousands of Ganeshas are lined up for the process of immersion in the Hussain Sagar lake. Welcome pandals have been erected all along the route of Ganesh Shoba yatra. Prasadam and water have been distributed to the pilgrims coming for the procession here.
Barricades have been erected to maintain the traffic across the city. Around 15000 police are in the city for bundobust apart from the cameras looking at the procession with hawk eyes.
The control command is set up at the DGP office. The entire state has been wired to the DGP office in Hyderabad.
