Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that the AP and the West Bengal Government has a lot to hide and that is the reason that they are not allowing the CBI into their states.
Both the Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal Governments have withdrawn the permission to the CBI and that it cannot raid in these states. The state Government have withdrawn the permission for the CBI.
The CBI cannot conduct any raids in the state which comes under the permission of these two states and it has to seek permission if it has to do so. Only those who have a lot to hide will stop the CBI from the raids Jaitley commented over the issue.
Why should the AP and WB states fear the central agencies he questioned? Babu should be afraid of the future and didi should be afraid of the present he opined.
Jaitely was speaking to the media after he released the election manifesto for the state of Madhya Pradesh. Under the federal structure, the CBI was formed to act upon the central employees or for that if there are any requests from the states Jaitely said. Talking about the Narada and Sarada scams of West Bengal, Didi cannot just do away with it, Jaitley opined.
