The Telangana Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council will meet on September 24. The Business Advisory Committee will discuss the duration of the session.

The State Government will introduce five draft bills, including a Revenue Registration Act and Housing Development Corporation Act. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today reviewed the preparation.

He complimented the State Government for the implementation of the vaccination against Corona Virus. He also complimented the Government and the Police department for organising the Ganesh Nimajjan process and Shobha yatra in a peaceful manner.

This session is significant as the assembly is convened after six months, especially after Nagarjuna Sagar by-election and after the exit of former minister Eatala Rajender from TRS.

Both ruling TRS and opposition parties will hold preparatory meetings before the session. The TRS wants a full-fledged debate on Dalit Bandhu scheme, which was launched in four mandals in four assembly constituencies apart from Huzurabad and Vasalamarri village, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s adopted village.
