Are we sleeping properly is a big question. Some IT jobs are not allowing the youth to sleep properly. The sleep Cycle is disturbed in the name of shifts.
They change the shifts of the Jobs suiting the requirement of the foreign countries and also to maintain a business round the clock. So the youth change the sleeping time and pattern on weekly basis. This is not good for your health. But there is no other option.
In the name of Corona, the jobs are removed left and right. The job which was done by a dozen employees is now being done by half a dozen people. That is the order of the day.
One has to work for around 12 hours. How can they maintain the sleep cycle?
It is important to be in sync with our body’s natural sleep-wake cycle. We must set aside 8 hours for regular sleep and try to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Exercise, exposure to sunlight are important to get good sleep.
Pre-sleep activities such as taking a warm bath and meditation also helps us sleep well. Many employees who are working with IT companies have a different kind of health issues.
The companies just don’t bother about the plight of the employees. They extract work and then just drop the employees like hot potatoes. The Government must look into this issue in particular and see that the right of an employee is protected.
