No Ramzan celebrations in Dubai

Like last year, Dubai will be celebrating Ramadan in lockdown again. The UAE government has rolled out a set of rules in regulations in order to restrict the spread of Covid-19 .

1.Mosques will remain open for the special Taraweeh prayers.

2. Women’s prayer halls will remain closed. They have to do prayers at Home.

3No gatherings will be allowed including home visits and family gatherings. Only members of the same family living in the same house can share meals.

4.Residents have to maintain a two-metre distance in their area and when they come out .

5.Iftar meals will not be allowed inside mosques.

6.Iftar tents are banned.

7.Advertising special offers for Iftar meals are not allowed.

8.Distribution of free charity meals is only allowed through the official charitable bodies.

9.Distributing Qurans and other gifts are prohibited.

10.Report beggars if you spot them.
