An internal survey by the BJP vistaraks in Telangana showed that they can make a difference in Telangana by targetting 65 constituencies. BJP Chief Amit Shah is having a crucial meeting today in Hyderabad at the party office opposite exhibition grounds where he will give a final nod to the 60 people who would meet him from various wings affiliated to the BJP.
How many they would win is a different question, but they might mar the chances of other parties who are likely to win. There was a speculation that the BJP and the TRS would have an understanding but it is clear now that the BJP will go on its own.
The Congress, BJP and the TDP here in Telangana are hoping for a Karnataka kind of experiment here in Telangana.
But the situation is different here. TRS is just surging ahead and there are many schemes yet to announced by KCR. He would release them just before the elections.
On the other hand, the BJP leaders here have worked out on the names of disgruntled elements from the TRS. Some leaders who may not MLA seats might join the BJP in the eleventh hour and contest against the TRS. But the TRS is also playing it safe. They have managed to convince Somarapu Satyanarayana the RTC Chairman already.
KCR is also a master strategist and is nothing less than Amit Shah for that matter. People who dont get seats from TRS have two option one is Congress and the other is BJP. The TDP is the last resort and can be considered as a no alternative.
The order is TRS, Congress,BJP and the last is TDP. Janasena is also planning to contest some seats here but it is of no significance. Pawan’s ex-wife Renu Desai is deflating him on daily basis.
