Biopics are ruling the film industry these days. Not only the sportspersons, now films are being made on politicians. The shootings of YSR and NTR the former chief Ministers are in full swing. Now they have decided to do a movie on Jayalalithaa. Earlier a movie on KCR the Telangana CM was also launched and Nazar is playing the role of KCR.
The latest is on the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. The title is Chandrodayam. It will be on the life and times of Babu with a budget of around Rs 3 crore. The Movies on sports personalities Sania and Saina are going on. Earlier a movie on Milkha Singh and Mary com was done and they were super duper hits. In the same fashion films were done on film personalities like Sanjayadutt and now a movie on Aishwarya is also being planned.
A film on Savithri was done in Telugu and it was a runaway hit. So biopics are the order of the day. They are raking up huge collections a the box office. YSRs movie is titled as Yatra. NTRs biopic is NTR. Balakrishna is working as NTR and Mammooty the Malayalam star is YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
