Aamir Khan is making arrangements for the making of Mahabharata it is reported. Karan Johar the producer and director is helping him in this process it is reported. Some say that Karan has taken over Mahabharata from Aamir.
The news is that they have contacted Prabhas for the role of Arjuna. Aamir will be Srikrishna. Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and the who is who of the Bollywood will be involved in various roles suiting them so that we can see a package of all the stars in Mahabharata it is learnt.
The project is not shelved and Bollywood format Mahabharata is being worked out. The cost of the project is more than 1000 crore and the Reliance entertainment is also involved in the project. But there is no confirmation on an official basis as yet. The Mohanlal Randamzum is also in the making and it is Mahabharata with Bheema as the central character. It will be a different narration altogether.
There are also reports that Karan Johar is taking some tips from Rajamouli the Baahubali director over the big scale production and working style. On the other hand, Aamir Khan is now busy with the release of Thugs of Hindostan movie.
Who knows like Baahubali, Aamir would get locked up for the shooting of Mahabharata years together. Is it right for Prabahs to do that or will be good to local movies in a span of 6 months or so is to be assessed? Now Prabhas is busy with his Saaho, at RFC.
