Dattanna is one man who is always encouraging the Telangana Government for development. Right from the days of Telangana agitation Dattatreya has been encouraging K Chandrasekhar Rao the CM of TS. He said there is a lot to be done for the development of Telangana and that it should be made into Bangaru Telangana.
On the other hand Bandaru Dattatreya advsied the Telangana Government for ” to utilise funds given by the Centre” in an appropriate time.
“Telangana government should have utilised the central funds,” Dattatreya told reporters here.
He said work on irrigation projects, like Kaleshwaram, needs to be expedited by Telangana government.
“A 500 MW solar power project was sanctioned by the Centre for Mahaboobnagar district, but work is yet to be initiated by Telangana government. The Centre was unable to allocate funds for Kaleshwaram project, as the detailed project report was not sent by Telangana government,” he said.
He said Telangana and Andhra Pradesh had shown interest in the implementation of demonetisation programme,
Dattatreya maintained. “Cashless transactions would lead to economic empowerment,” he told.Dattatreya always has a soft corner for Hyderabad and also Telangana. In fact he was nicknamed as Minister for Hyderabad.
