Protecting the sanctity and serenity of Tirumala is the responsibility of every individual and every devotee of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
The monthly Dial Your EO Program was held and the EO attended to the phone calls of 25 pilgrims across the country.
A pilgrim caller brought to the notice of EO that a few politicians are often indulging in making controversial political statements in the holy abode upon the queries posed by the media which is not at all a healthy practice.
The EO said, protecting the sacredness and sanctity of Tirumala is the responsibility of every citizen and devotee. He urged the media to ask the politicians queries related to their dharmic and spiritual experience in Tirumala instead of asking political questions and sought their cooperation in enhancing the glory of Srivaru.
Another caller enquired the EO about the release of Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam tickets to which EO replied prior notification and information will be given for the sake of devotees before releasing the quota.
However, he said, Two lakh Rs.300 tickets will be released online for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam from December 23 to January 1. Besides, we will also issue 5 lakh SSD tokens for these ten days in Tirupati.
TTD EO reviewed on the action plan and steps against Disaster Management in TTD in view of year-long festivities in hill shrine and anticipated rush of devotees.
Earlier the Executive Director of AP Disaster Management Institute Dr C Nagraj and UNICEF consultant Sri Amal Krishna made a PowerPoint presentation and the TTD EO reviewed the document made by them.
