This time it will be a tough election for the BRS. While Congress is grinding the axe against the BRS, the BJP is also help bent on increasing its tally under Kishan Reddy.
It is not over yet. K Chandrasekhar Rao the BRS Chief has ordered a fresh survey on the MLA candidates. There is every chance that some names will change for a few seats in the coming days.
The news of a fresh survey is sending jitters to MLAs, who fear losing tickets in the event of negative reports. There is severe anti-incumbency against a few sitting MLAs who were retained.
The MLAs will get a report on their performance apart from their position in their respective constituencies. The worst performers who don’t have a chance to win will be axed and new faces will get the B form.
KCR was supposed to hold a meeting with candidates to discuss campaign strategy, but it was indefinitely put off. The Chief Minister wanted to obtain survey reports on all candidates before holding the first meeting.
The Chief Minister wants to read out the survey results in the meeting, warn candidates, and explore replacements in such constituencies where there is no improvement in future reports.
