Finally Supreme says yes to Nimajjan at Hussain Sagar

The Supreme Court has agreed for the Ganesh Nimajjan here at the Hussain Sagar for this year. It may be recalled that the GHMC has filed a petition in the High court seeking permission for Nimajjna.

But the court has passed some restrictions stopping the process of Nimajjan. Now the GHMC had no other option but to seek permission from the supreme court.

The Bhagyanga Ganesh Utsava Samithi was very particular that the Nimajjan will be done at the Tanbund at any cost like every year. The Nimajjan will take place on Sunday the 19nth.

Lakhs of idols are expected to come to Hussain Sagar and the Nimajjan will take place for more than 24 hours. Thousands of police are being deployed the sake of Bundobust for Shoba Yatra.
