The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, Stephen Raveendra, IPS., conducted a review meeting with the Cyber Crime Wing officers along with Cyberabad Traffic DCP Shri SM Vijay Kumar, IPS., DCP Crimes Smt. Rohini Priyadarshini, IPS., and Cyber Crimes ACP Gangadhar at Cyberabad CP Office.
CP reviewed the basic functioning of the Cyber Crime Wing and the division of work among the officers at various levels. He also reviewed different types of Modus Operandi in Cyber Crimes and their trends over the years. Discussed the trending Cybercrime MOs and how to go about these crimes in the coming days.
CP instructed to develop a framework for the working of the Cyber Crime staff and to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of every police officer associated with Cybercrime duties.
Also instructed to co-ordinate and partner with the IT/ITES industry experts, academia, independent Cyber Security experts in skilling the officers, developing the processes and implement at the field level.
