Smt Usha Rani wife of Honourable Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu and his daughter Deepa Venkat participated in the Green India challenge, by planting saplings at Sadahalli gate, Devanahalli, Bengaluru.
They appreciated the Geen India Challenge initiated by RS MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar and expressed their happiness for participation in GIC.
They informed that they will take forward the GIC on a large scale by involving their Swarna Bharathi Trust.
GIC coordinator Sudheer presented the “Vruksha Vedam” book to the dignitaries post plantation. Crores of saplings have already been planted under the GIC led by the TRS MP Santosh Kumar. Santosh says that it is an inspiration from Haritha Haram suggested by KCR the Chief Minister of Telangana.
