Prakash Raj the actor and villain who is contesting the MAA elections with a panel is being branded as ‘non-local as he hails from Karnataka.
Prakash failed in politics miserably and is almost banned in Bollywood for criticising PM Modi in open. If Vishal Reddy con contest in Tamilnadu, why not Prakash Raj in Telangana is the question.

The super duper actor was banned by the producers association for coming late to the shootings and putting the producers and actors in trouble.
Prakash Raj who is close to Dil Raju the mega-producer stated:“When I adopted a village in the Telangana state, no one questioned me if I am a non-local.
I bought houses for my assistants in Hyderabad. My son attends his school in Hyderabad. The address on my Aadhar card reveals that I am local. I got National Award for the film Antahpuram.
I received nine Nandi Awards for acting in Telugu films. When there is no question of non-local in these situations, why is it popping out now? It shows the narrow-mindedness and poor mental status of those who say that I am non-local“.
Prakash Raj tells that the decision to contest in the election did not happen overnight. “I took a year to convince myself that I should do this. I am in this industry for over 3 decades. The industry has given me the name, fame, and everything.
I am not happy with the things happening here. It is easy to point out things but the execution is important,” says Prakash, adding, “During the shoots, my co-artists used to tell me that I can be the right person to become the President.
There is no single incident that triggered me to take this decision. I have been thinking about it a lot. After witnessing the happenings in the last year, I made my mind to come in and form the solutions for existing issues.
It is clear that someone big is backing Prakash Raj in a calculated manner.
