Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed deep sorrow over the death of senior CPM leader and former MLA representing Madhira Constituency Katta Venkata Narasiah.
The CM said that the future generations would remember Narsaiah as a leader who stood by his party
principles in his entire life.
The CM said Narasiah who came into politics at a very young age always worked for the welfare of people and became a role model to others.
The CM conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.Former legislator from Madhira constituency, Katta Venkata Narsaiah passed away after prolonged illness here on Friday night. He was 87.
Venkata Narsaiah had represented Madhira in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly twice from the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He quit the CPI (M) and the Assembly in 2009 following his differences with the party leadership.
