There is no truth in the allegations being made against the TS Tranco and Genco said the CMD Devulapally Prabhakar Rao. He was addressing a press conference here at the office today against the allegations that there was corruption in the power purchase agreements.
Prabhakar Rao said that he was ready for any probe into the allegations against the Transco and Genco. He said let them probe with a sitting judge or the CBI.
He impressed upon the media that all the transactions are made in a transparent manner and that there was no truth in the allegations being made by the opposition and the vested interests.
Let them come up with the proof he challenged. He said that Telangana was on the top when it comes to the generation of Solar power. He also said that the agreements are open to the public when it comes to the power purchase from the neighbouring states.
There is no truth in the allegations of whatsoever he stated.
He also added that the power bodies are functioning under the daily monitoring by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
He said that there was regular monitoring on the power generation, distribution and also purchase of the power. If there was any substance let them come and prove he challenged the leaders who were making allegations against the power organisations.
