Man-made disaster in AP: Babu

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu has charged today that the floods in Andhra Pradesh were a man-made disaster. He gave a presentation today that the AP Government failed miserably in managing the floods. He charged that they were trying to divert water to his house in Vijayawada and see that it was vacated.

The YSRC Government failed in managing the floods and the people were put to trouble he said. They tried to send the Prakasam barrage water into my house Chandrababu alleged. The crops have submerged due to bad management of floods he opined.

It was not being managed properly and wanted to see that Amaravathi was flooded he stated. The farmers were put to the severe loss he said. The water could have been diverted to Rayalaseema he said.

They just concentrated on Amaravathi and my house and they want it to be under floods he charged. They opened the gates and closed the gates without proper notice and time he alleged.

The Officials were pressurised by the rulers he said. The issue of flooding has to be enquired he demanded. There were floods in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and other areas, will you demolish the city he questioned? There was water in the Airport, will you demolish the airport he asked.

There will be no floods for Amaravathi he clarified. The bunds have to be strengthened he stated.
