Dhoni after giving everything could not save India from losing the World Cup match. At 7nth place, he tried his best and the luck did not favour him in the end.
Now Dhoni has nothing to lose if he retires from the cricket. He has a big role to play in Jharkhand for the BJP. The Assembly elections are due in Jharkhand and the BJP Chief Amit Shah has already met Dhoni.
It is learnt that Dhoni will be the Chief Campaigner for the BJP and will be designated for the CM post. Nothing has come out officially in this regard but some BJP MPs have confirmed this.
We do not know if Dhoni is getting retired or from cricket. Now the clarity must come from Dhoni if he would like to contest as an MLA and then become the chief Minister for Jharkhand. It is a good offer from the BJP but it all depends as to how Dhoni would like to take it.
We do not know as yet what is going in Dhonis mind as of now. But one thing is clear that the defeat would be haunting him. It will take some time for him to come out of that run out nightmare.
