Chief Minister of AP Jaganmohan Reddy has reached Tirupathi to welcome the President Ramnath Kovind today. We do not know if the president will be going for Tirumala to have the Lords Darshan.

On the other hand, the TTD chief Subbareddy has advised the VVIPs to come to TTD only once in a year so that the common man gets all the benefit. Soon the system of L1-L2-L3 will be removed. Dharma Reddy the old guard of the TTD has resumed his position as the EO Yesterday. He reached Tirumala on foot from Alipiri and has taken over the position.

Dharma Reddy is an old hand at the TTD and is known for his good work. The TTD chief has stated that the new board would be constituted by the Chief Minister in 10 days time.

The board will take decisions like using CNG and electric vehicle only on the TTD. This is to reduce vehicular pollution. The Kalyanakatta the tonsuring centres will also be shifted from TTD to Tirupathi. The pilgrims are expected to get the tonsure done down the hills, take the bath and then go to the hill shrine for the Lords darshan.

The traffic congestion would be reduced on the Tirumala in a phased manner. Maximum accommodation will be created around the TTD in Tirupathi. The pilgrims will be allowed on to the shrine an hour ahead of the darshan schedule. Conveyors will be arranged so that the darshan becomes fast.
