There is a talk in the political circles that Vijayashanti might contest the MP elections. That too from Khammam. There are people who say that due to the active campaign of Vijayashanti some MLAs have won the elections in the Congress party.
Firebrand MP and Congress leader Renuka Chowdhary was very angry with the publicity about Vijayashanti. In a meeting with the workers from Khammam, Renuka clarified that it was the workers who made the MLAs to win the election and not any particular leader or campaigner. She was angry with the way the name of Vijayashanti was being promoted by the Media and others in the party.
Vijayashanti who was keeping quiet on her contest as an MP has now clarified that she is not contesting the parliament elections. Vijaya Shanti clarified that she would be happy to campaign for the party across the country wherever she is being drafted and that she would not confine to one constituency in the name of MP elections.
It is reported that by February end the MPs list for the Congress will be out. But they have to go to Delhi for the final nod. Even before that two lady leaders are engaged in a verbal war over the MP seat. But now it is clear that Vijayshanthi is not interested in contesting the election and Khammam is clear for Renuka Chowdary the firebrand MP from Congress who is close to the Gandhi family.
Here in Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao is confident of winning all the sixteen seats and one will be for MIM taking the tally to 17. Finally, KCR will be the kingmaker for the next Government.
