KT Rama Rao has come to the TRS office with band, Baaja and Baarat for taking over as the working president of the party here today. He came in a procession on vehicle accompanied by MLAs Srinivas, Yadav, Nagendar, Padma Rao and Danam Nagednar. Dance troupes accompanied him all the way in a big procession from the Panjagutta side.
The cadres blasted the crackers on his arrival. The security was beefed up and heavy bundobust arrangements were arranged at the Telangana Bhavan. People greeted KCR with garlands, shawls and sprinkled flower petals on him. Pink flags greeted him all the way.
He was greeted by MLAs at the party office. After garlanding the Telugu Talli statue at the gate, with great difficulty he could enter the party office inside. The women also gathered in large numbers to greet him at the entrance. Thousands of them waited in front of the gate while KTR took over as the party president.
