Seven people died and 4 were injured in Chevall of Rangareddy district when an Innova vehicle collided with a truck coming in the opposite direction.
11 people were travelling in the innnova when the accident occurred. All the injured were admitted to the OGH hospital and the dead bodies were moved to the mortuary.
The police have reached the spot and the case is under investigation. Four women and one baby died on the spot it is reported. The accident occurred in the early hours.
The accident occurred at a turning. The police said that it was a blind curve, and due to fog the truck diver could not see the innova car coming in the opposite direction. They have already written to the R and B department to widen the road at the curve. The truck which hit the Innova was carrying borewell equipment.
In another accident, 3 people died at Kurnool in Gudur. In all 11 died in 2 accidents this morning.
