Minister for Municipal Administration KT Rama Rao said that the city of Hyderabad is being developed with an amount of Rs 23000 crore and that right now Rs 9000 crore works were being executed on war footing basis.
The traffic snarls were being reduced with the help of flyovers. KTR launched the flyover at the Kamineni junction today and said that more flyovers will pave way for the better flow of the traffic here in the city.
KTR added that even the footpaths were widened for the benefit of the commuters. He was with the local MLAs and Minister Mahendar Reddy during the launch of the flyover here at the Kamineni junction.
He explained that the MMTS and the Metro services will also be expanded. Yadadru will soon be connected to the MMTS he announced. In the same fashion, KTR said that the Metro rail will also be expanded to reach all the directions in the city.
The development works in the surroundings of Hyderabad was also being done in a phased manner he explained. Apart from the infrastructure, water, sanitation and other things are being monitored and Hyderabad will have international standards in the near future he explained.
That was the reason companies at an International level were coming to Hyderabad he explained. He mentioned the IT giants that have set up their shops here in the recent times.
