Sharmila the daughter of YS Rajsekhr Reddy stated that she talked with Congress as they love YSR. The talks are in the last stage and I will give all the details she said.
While there are reports that she would work in Andhra, Shrmil said that she would work for the people of Telangana. Jagan and Sharmila did not participate in prayers at the Samadhi of YSR today in Idupulapaya.
She talked against KCR in particular. I will work with the Congress party she said. But the way she joined Congress shows that Sharamila has lost steam in becoming a leader.
Sharmila said that she has discussed the issues in detail with Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. She almost agreed on her father’s YSR death anniversary that soon she would merge with Congress and get a seat to contest.
The YSRTP leader extensively walked in Telangana, but there was no proper response. Sharmila and her husband Anil traveled to Delhi to meet Rahul and Sonia.
Sharmila was assured that she would get the right position in the Congress party. The merger of YSRTP will not make any difference to the Congress party in Telangana.
There were rumors that she was fielded by the BJP in Telangana. The Congress is hopeful that Sharmila can get some Christian votes for them. But we have to see how far the daughter of YSR will be able to win her own seat.
