The YCPLP meeting will be held today. To formally elect party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as their leader at 11:00 am.
The meeting will be held in the Jagan camp office at Tadepalli and later he will be meeting Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan to submit a resolution to formally stake claim to form the government in the state. He will take oath as the chief minister on May 30 in Vijayawada.
Jagan has decided to build a parliamentary party for those belonging to other social groups, not just those who belong to the Reddy community. It is reported that Vallabhaneni Balashowry was named after the success of Machilipatnam.
The YSR Congress party has created a storm by bagging 151 seats in the 175-member Assembly.
