Sharmila the daughter of YSR said that she would strive to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister of India. YSR dreamt of making Rahul the PM she said.

She expressed happiness that the Bharat Jodo Yatra has given confidence to the party and that it has won the Karnatak and also Telangana in recent times.
There is a talk that she would be made the Chief of AP Congress and would have to contest against the YSRC and TDP here. She failed as the YSRTP chief and now merged the party with the Congress.
Gidigu Rudraju the present chief of Congress in AP said that he was happy to take Sharmila into the Congress and would work together for the development of the party in the coming elections.
