This is a special occasion for the Rajbhavan Pariwar said Governor Narasimhan . Gopichand Pariwar is with us. Sindhu has blessings of Maata,Pita and Guru , that is the reason she is blessed with medals and performance he said.

Governor hosted a tea party for Sindhu and her coach Gopichand  this evening along with their parents. This was a great gesture from Rajbhavan . He complimented Sindhu for the Khel Ratna. Narasimhan complimented Gopi for his dedication for training the medal winner Sindhu.

At this juncture he remembered Ramayana where a squirrel helped Rama to build a bridge. I watched all the games along with Srikanths game he said. With dinner I watched Sindhus games he said. Today also I watched all the proceedings of Sindhu he said. He presented a memento to Sindhu , Gopi and Srikanth over the stage. He compared himself with a squirrel and praised Gopi as Rama.

Talking here Sindhu said that It was a great honor from Governors family and Rajbhavan Pariwar. She opined that it was gods grace, coach  and parents that have made her reach the goal. She became nervous while speaking. Srikanth expressed his great-fullness to the Governor.

Gopichand the coach said that he met Governor several times for his blessings.The land of academy was in trouble for many years Gopichand said. It was Governor who supported us Gopi reminded. We value your support and blessing said Gopi here. I am a regular to Rajbhavan he said. We will live upto your expectations Gopi said.
