Yadadri income must increase

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari suggested that the scope of the present Yadadri Temple Development Area (YTDA) should be further expanded and the sources of income should be increased.

At a high-level review meeting held at BRKR Bhavan today on the development of Yadadri Temple Development Authority, Chief Secretary observed that as there are only seven villages under the YTDA now, it should be expanded further and proposals should be submitted for this purpose.

She suggested to increase self-income sources by developing the surrounding areas and villages adjoining the temple. CS said that the construction of Yadadri Devasthanam is amazing and hoped that it will develop like Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. The audit reports of the temple and the activities of Shilparamam were also reviewed during the meeting.

Special Chief Secretary Finance K.Ramakrishna Rao, Special Chief Secretary MA&UD Arvind Kumar, Principal Secretary Revenue Navin Mittal, Principal Secretary YAT&C Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Commissioner Transport Buddha Prakash, Commissioner Endowments Anil Kumar, VC & CEO YTDA Kishan Rao, EO Geetha and other officials participated in the meeting.
