Yadadri goes cashless ahead of TTD

While Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao is taking all steps to make Yadadri Lakshmis Narsimha Swamy temple on par with Tirumala Tirupathi Devasathnam, the local management has made it feasible for cash less transactions.

Yadadri became the first cashless temple town in Telangana. All merchants including tea vendors switched to the cashless mode in two days it is reported. The Telangana Information Technology Association under its “Digithon” programme had taken up the task with the coordination of district revenue officials and the state IT department.

Announcing Yadadri as the first cashless temple town, collector Anita Ramachandran purchased coconuts through SBI Buddy to offer to the presiding deity, Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha travelled in an autorickshaw and paid by a cashless mode.

Even TTD is yet go cash less. In some places the card can be swiped for payments, while some other counters are taking only cash in TTD.

On the other hand Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao reviewed the ongoing development works at the Yadadri hill shrine personally several times. He drove to the Balalayam and participated in special puja of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy. He reviewed the development works several times at camp office also.Rs 100 crore per annum was sanctioned for the development of temple and roads in and around Yadadri.

Earlier after visiting the sites of the Rajagopurams, the Chief Minister examined the works of the main temple. He also sought the status of the construction of the retaining wall to the hill shrine. The Chief Minister also visited the sites of the three-floor queue complex, potu (kitchen), and installation of huge Hanuman idol on the hill shrine.

He also suggested to the Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) officials to see that no inconvenience was caused to the devotees on the hill shrine due to the temple development works. The Chief Minister also enquired about the details of pushkarini, drinking water, underground drainage and power supply works. Perhaps KCR is he first CM who took keen interest in development of religious places and agreed openly that he is a religious man and god fearing man.
