The World is looking at Hyderabad and Gopichand. Coach Gopichand who is having a badminton academy in Hyderabad has proved beyond that he is an international coach. Sindhu trained by him has beaten the World No 1 in just 40 minutes and straight sets.
That proves it all. What more can you ask from Gopichand? It is reported that many players from across the country and some other countries are now looking at Hyderabad and Gopichand for training at International standards.
Chief Minister KCR has promised both the player and also the coach that the Government would extend all-out help for enhancing the performance of the players so that they would get more laurels to the country and enhance the pride of Hyderabad.
“PV Sindhu enhanced the nation’s prestige. By winning the World Championship, Sindhu stood apart among the 130 Crore Indians. This is a moment of pride for all of us. This is not an easy task said the chief Minister KCR.
Rigorous practise, concentration and dedication are needed. One cannot reach to this stage without a lot of hard work. Sindhu’s parents, being national sportspersons themselves, have groomed Sindhu well he said.
Gopichand gave good coaching. Now Hyderabad is becoming a platform to train international winners. This is a welcome development. Sindhu should take part in many more tournaments; she should go to the Olympics.
The state government is ready to extend all support and arrangements to her to get prepared to participate in the tournaments in future,” the CM said.
