The International Women’s Day will be observed by TTD at Mahathi Auditorium in Tirupati on March 7 under the auspices of the TTD Welfare Department.
The program will start at 10 am. On this occasion, talented women in various fields will be felicitated and address as keynote speakers.
Regular and outsourcing female employees of TTD will participate in this program.
Essay writing, drawing and quiz competitions were conducted for women employees at SV Oriental College in Tirupati on Monday while a Music competition will be conducted on March 5 at SV College of Music and Dance in honour of Women’s Day.
TTD Welfare Department Deputy EO Smt Snehalatha is supervising the arrangements.Clothes donated by devotees to Tirumala Srivari Temple and other affiliated temples will be auctioned from March 15 to 22.
There are 412 lots of new, used and partially damaged garments.
This includes Art Silk Dhotis, Uttariyams, Turkey Towels, Lungis, Dupattas, Shawls, Bed Sheets, Napkins, Hand Kerchiefs, Punjabi Dress Materials, Jankalas, Carpets, Umbrellas.
