The social media is filled with reports that the CM Revanth would be arrested for the doctored video of Hoem Minister Amit Shah. If this happens it will generate huge sympathy for the Congress party.
This is already giving a huge publicity to Revanth and the Congress party. The fact that he was earlier arrested by the BRS Government has given him the post of the CM in the recent elections.
If he is arrested , he will get more seats in the parliament elections.
The matter is under investigation. We are trying to trace the origin of the video and people who posted it will be questioned and notice will be served to them to participate in the probe,” said the sources.
The Delhi police special cell had Sunday registered an FIR after the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), under the Union home ministry, filed a complaint about the doctored video of Mr Shah where his statements indicating a commitment to abolish quotas for Muslims on religious ground in Telangana were changed to make it seem that he was advocating the scrapping of all reservations.
The sources in the special cell said that now arrests are likely to follow across the country.
