It looks like the Kamlantah Government in Madhya Pradesh is on the brink of collapse. The Governor has recommended for a floor test here. But there is no mention about the floor test in the agenda of the Assembly proceedings for Monday.
As far as floor test is concerned it is the prerogative of the Speaker. It has to be seen if the Governor has the power to prevail upon the Speaker in the Assembly to see that the floor test is done.
There is a chance that the issue might go to court. The MLAs are whisked away by their respective parties and they are cooling their heels in the resorts.
If the resignations of the 22 MLAs is accepted by the Speaker then the Madhyapradesh Sarkar will be in trouble. Kamlnath the one year Chief Minister could be forced to resign.
The BJP is moving earth and heaven to come to power in Madhya Pradesh. The operation Lotus was being done since last 3 months it is reported. The BJP has used the family members of Raja to convince him to shift to the BJP.
Kamalnath, on the other hand, is confident that he will continue to be in power for a full term.
