With the blessings of Narendra Modi the self-interest of the candidates and the bad time of BRS, the BJP could get 8 seats in the parliament elections.

Now that Kishan Reddy has become the central Minister and new BJP Chief is all set to enter the Arena.

But there is no doubt that the BJP may not come to power straight in the Assembly elections. Even before the Chief comes, there are issues.

“For a party to come to power, it needs new leaders and new functionaries. Without them, the party cannot grow. Both old-timers and new entrants should work in coordination for the development of the party,”Etela Rajendra said.

However, his views soon found opposition, with senior BJP leader and Goshamahal BJP MLA T Raja Singh, said the party leadership, while choosing a new State president, should select someone who had been working in the party for a long time and believed in the party ideology and Hindu religion.

Dr Laxman does not like Raja Singh for that matter as he is an independent leader. But others may not consider Etela also as he is new in the party.

Considering all these differences, the BJP has a lot of time to grow in the near future. All the leaders have specific followers and groups who don’t work for others in the party.

Only Modi can mobiise them when he comes to Hyderabad.
