Will Telangana implement the ban on crackers

The High Court of Telangana has directed the Government to implement the cracker Ban in the state to avoid and Noise and Air pollution. The Delhi Haryana and Rajashthan Governments are already implementing the order of Ban on crackers.

The Court also has directed the Government to see that the cracker shops are closed. But the citizens of Hyderabad are already cracking big bombs which are making huge sounds.

The crackers are bound to create, Noise and air pollution in a big way. The old city is already in trouble with dirty floodwaters and a lot of sanitation work is still pending in many areas.

It has to be seen how far the people will follow the orders of the Government. The Government may not impose the ban seriously it looks like. Prime Minister Modi has also suggested the people of the Nation to celebrate Diwali with local made Diyas and not the Chinese lights and crackers. He wanted the Indian artisans to be encouraged.

An Advocate by Indra Prakash filed a PIL in the court against the celebration of Diwali crackers. He said that the crackers pollution will spoil the health of the people in General and it has to be banned.

The court agreed with the petitioner and imposed the Ban. There should be no purchase or sale of cracked the court suggested to the Government.

We have to see how far the Government will be able to impose the cracker ban.
