The idea of a Federal Front is gaining significance yet again. KCR the CM of Telangana first mooted the idea of forming an alternative front at the centre against the misrule of the Modi Government.
But the idea did not materialise at that stage. Now that the TMC led by Mamata, DMKled by Stalin and LDF have won the elections there is a new hope of forming the front against the Central Government led by Modi and Shah.
Mamata said that she would fight against the misrule of the Government, but will respect the seat of the Prime Minister. KCR who is in the midst of dropping a Key minister in the cabinet of the charges of land grabbing is yet to comment on the latest situation.
For the last several years, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has provided a stable government. The question is whether regional parties will stand alone or form a federal front?
If the front is a means to bring together regional parties, it will have to address a series of issues. Now there is a chance that the TRS Boss KCR may take up the formation of a federal front at the centre.
He might hand over the Telangana Government to his son KTR. Harish Rao another key man in the cabinet of Telangana has agreed to support KTR. The man Etela who opposed the move has already been dropped.
Now that Modi has failed in terms of controlling Corona apart from losing the election in Bengal makes all the difference to Mamata, KCR, Stalin and others.
Is KCR thinking of going against Modi at this point in time is the question. Jagan the AP CM will not go against the Modi Government.
So we have to see how far this idea of the Federal Front will succeed. Prashant Kishor the man behind Mamata success said that the Fronts will not make any difference to the mighty BJP.
The next 6 months are very crucial for the BJP at the centre.
