There is every possibility of a new front to be shaping up under Chandrashekar Rao or Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister of Telangana and Bihar.
While KCR did not announce the name of Nitish to be the PM face, Nitish announced it by way of hoardings in open saying that they were aiming for Gaddi in Delhi.
In such a situation anti-BJP votes get splintered among many, giving BJP a victory. If the Opposition gets divided into two or three groups it is all the more advantageous for the BJP which is very strong in the present scenario.
The opposition is hopelessly divided. The exit of senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabhi Azad shows the sorry state of affairs in the party.
But this so called front being worked out by KCR, is also having some differences it looks like. It is clear that KCR did not want Nitish to be the leader and he dodged the announcement saying that he would discuss it with other leaders and that someone might say no to Nitish.
There is no leader among the opposition who can match Modi’s popularity or calibre. KCR is trying to be the leader of the opposition. There is a chance that KCR might encourage Nitish to be the leader of the Opposition.
What if both KCR and Nitish want to be the PM face for the coming elections? There is a talk that Mamata is also interested in becoming an alternative to Modi in the coming elections.
BJP is extending its influence in states where the party never had its presence. In Telangana, TN and AP the party will do better. This will help in increasing its numbers.
The BJP may not come to power in Telangana and Andhra, but it will improve its presence. In Telangana, the BJP is doing better than Andhra. There is a cold war going on between the BJP leaders in Telangana. There is no proper leadership for the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. A recent survey shows that BJP is poised to get more than three hundred seats in the coming elections. Modi will be the PM again as announced by Amit Shah.
