Mamata didi has written to KCR to come for a meeting of the opposition parties for the coming Presidential polls. Mamata is of the opinion that the Opposition parties must field one candidate to see that the BJP loses the election.
But we have to see if KCR will agree to work under the leadership of Mamatha.
KCR is very firm on taking a role in national politics. He wants to start a party for national politics with like-minded parties. Will he make any difference at the national level is the question.
Will Mamata work under the leadership of KCR for a new political party? Will she support him is another question?
There is a talk that he wants to win the state and then contest at the national level. He will contest as an MLA and then go for the MP seat also. KCR will change the MLA seat to be on the safe side this time.
We have to see how far the other leaders will respond to the call of KCR. Mamata Didi from Bengal is already in the grip of Modi with the Sarada Scam.
Jagan from AP is bogged down with his own ED cases and the murder of his Uncle Vivekananda ad is in the clutches of the central Government. Diggi Raja and Ghulam Nabhi are also indirectly with Modi.
So we have to see how far KCR will succeed in National politics. Funding is also another issue at the National level. Who will fund KCR at the national level against Modi is another issue.
If KCR and Mamata travel in different directions, the purpose of the unity of Opposition will be lost.
