It looks like KCR wants to revive his idea of the Federal Front with the help of Prashant Kishore the Poll strategist. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will be meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin in Chennai today.
KCR’s visit is leading to speculation linking the visit to his attempts to revive his plans to float a non-Congress national-level political alliance for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This will be under the guidance of the Poll strategist Prashant Kishore.
This will be KCR’s first meeting with Stalin after the latter assumed charge as the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in May this year.
The meeting assumes significance in the wake of the TRS government’s ongoing row with the BJP government at the Centre on the issue of paddy procurement.
Official sources said the meeting between Rao and Stalin will be held at 5 pm on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister KCR yesterday performed special pujas at Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple at Srirangam in Tamil Nadu along with his family members.
He was accompanied by his wife Shobha, son and minister K.T. Rama Rao, daughter-in-law Shailima, Rajya Sabha member Joginapally Santosh Kumar, grandchildren and others.
This is the CM’s second visit to Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple. Earlier, he visited the temple soon after the Lok Sabha polls in May 2019.
