Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao may dissolve the state assembly taking a step towards holding early elections in the southern state it looks like.
This move analysts say may have been prompted by a desire to fight a possible BJP-Telugu Desam Party alliance in the state on his own terms .
The BJP these days is on the offensive and to check the anti-incumbency it would be right to go for the early polls the analysts opined.
But KTR and KCR have clarified many times that they will not go for the early polls. But the BJP leaders are saying that KCR will go for the early polls.
The opposition parties, especially the BJP and the Congress party, have been making serious allegations against KCR and his government without any basis and evidence.”
KCR, as Rao is popularly known, also said that the Opposition was trying to “demoralise and discourage us from going ahead in the path of development”.
“That is precisely why he might dissolve the assembly and seek a fresh mandate from the people so the wheels of progress can continue to roll…for another five years.
