Jagan the AP who has hiked the liquor rates is not allowing for the hike in cinema ticket rates. But the liquor sales is going up even after the rise in the rates.
The producers of the big-budget movie RRR are worried about the ticket rates in Andhra Pradesh. Right now there is no scope for raising the ticket rates in the state of AP.
Special shows are not allowed. RRR has been produced with a cost of around 450 crores they say. They will not be in a position to recover the money that they have spent with the present rates of tickets in the state of AP.
The producers wanted to approach the court on this issue. But now they have decided that it would be better to meet Jaganmohan Reddy the CM.
They are of the opinion that Jagan might show some solution to this issue so that RRR will be able to make good profits. Danayya the producer of the movie clarified that he will approach the CM and request him to bail them out of this situation.
RRR is scheduled for release in January 2022. By that time the issue will be resolved it looks like. Now the tickets will be sole online in the state of AP.
But there is no information on the rise in the ticket rates. The Tollywood people have requested Jagan and his government to resolve the issue of ticket rates so that the big producers will be benefitted.
