There is a talk that the next election in Telangana will have fifty per cent old and fifty per cent new faces for contesting the elections.
KCR te pink party boss told a meeting of the party MLAs that their performance was being assessed. He told them not to take things easy.
The CM said that the MLAs were not the sole leaders of the constituency and added that the opinions of the party functionaries too would be taken before finalising the tickets.
The MLAs are now said to be working overtime to please and placate the party functionaries.
He has entrusted the task of conducting surveys to Prashant Kishore, who is already on the job. He has already completed a survey of 30 constituencies and is on course to survey 40 more constituencies. In the third phase, the remaining seats too would be surveyed.
In addition to the surveys, KCR is said to be getting reports from the party organisational network about the accessibility of the MLA to the people and the party cadre, his responsiveness and commitment to the party and the people. Thus, for the first time ever, KCR is eliciting the opinions of the party functionaries about the sitting MLA.
But we do not know . Like last tie e might give away the seats to all the sitting MLAs.
