Pawan Kalyan the Jana Sena chief threatened the YSRC leaders that they would build a highway through Idupula Paya if they demolish the properties of the poor people in the name of road expansion.
Pawan opined that there was no need for road expansion in Ippaam. It was nothing but witch-hunting against the Jana Sena supporters he charged.
Pawan said that he was ready to die for the people of Ippatam. Will not go back while protecting the interest of the people he said. He walked around three kilometers this morning to reach Ippatan as the police stopped his vehicle.
Pawan opined that the houses in ippatam were being demolished in the name of road expansion as they have given land for the Public meeting of Jana Sena.
People came in large numbers to see Pawan and hear him talk for the welfare of the people. The police had a tough time controlling the milling crowds around Pawan.
You have demolished the houses of the poor and they will pull the YSRC Government down thundered Pawan Kalyan. One wonders what made the government to take up road widening in this village, which has 70ft main road.
The village has just 4,120 population and 1,277 households. The government did not make this small village as a municipality, nor was it part of the capital villages.
Hence the question comes – what made this government plan road widening and thus take up demolition of houses?
