The TDP says there no case and no evidence, but the AP CID says Chandrababu and his family members are involved in financial irregularities. Tog guns of the legal fraternity are breaking their heads to save Babu and bring him out of Jail.
Two petitions pertaining to Chandrababu and one petition for Lokesh are coming up for arguments in the AP High Court. Babu quash petition will come up for argument here in the Supreme Court on Friday.
Meanwhile, Bbu is sulking in the jail with dehydration. A man who was in AC for his lifetime was put in jail with just a fan at the age of 73.
Nara Lokesh on the other hand met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and expressed worry about the threat to the life of his father and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in jail.
BJP AP Chief Purandeshwari and Union Minister and TS BJP chief Kishan Reddy were present when Lokesh met Shah in Delhi.
Chandrababu, the TDP chief, has been in judicial remand in the Rajahmundry Central Jail of Andhra Pradesh since September 11 in connection with the skill development scam. The judicial remand of Naidu has been extended till October 19.
“Met with the Hon’ble Union Home Minister @AmitShah Ji and apprised him of the blatant misuse of state machinery by YSRCP Govt in Andhra Pradesh, the regime revenge against Hon’ble @ncbn garu, and the appalling condition in which he has been lodged in prison where his life is under threat,” Lokesh tweeted on X after the meeting.
