Minister for Finance Buggana Rajendra Nath today said that they will achieve the special status to the state of AP under the dynamic leadership of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. It is a farmer-centric budget and for all-round development of the state in all spheres said the Finance Minister.
He thanked the Chief Minister for giving an opportunity for the presentation of the budget.
32618 crore has been allocated for the education sector giving a top priority to Education. Rs11399 crore has been allocated for the Health sector.
All the transactions will be kept online and it will be transparent he said. Rs 6860 crore has been allocated for the power sector.
Welfare sector has been allotted 14412 crores.
Rs 12801 crore for the pensions has been allocated by the YSRC Government. Milk cooperative societies will be started soon Buggana said. The Godavari waters will be diverted to Srisailam he said. 31564 crore for Panchayat Raj and rural development has been earmarked by the YSRC Government.
15000 crore for Dalits development, Rs4988 crore for Girijans, 5000 crores for housing has been earmarked in the AP Budget. 1000 crore has been given for APSRTC.
Overall it looked like a welfare budget and farmer-centric budget.
